With a musical history dating back to 1974 thanks to his elementary school’s music program, Tommy played the trumpet for the next 7 years but discovered a power that is the bass guitar while listening to KISS for the first time. “Oh, man! It was Destroyer that did it for me. Once I heard that bass line in Detroit Rock City, the one in the verses, I was hooked! Not long after that there was RUSH with 2112 and it was all over!”

As with most players, there was that long list of bands in the beginning that no one will ever know but were instrumental in getting young players where they needed to be. Then in late 1984 came an offer to audition for a band out of Modesto, CA called VILLAIN. “This band started me on the journey that forged me into the musician I am today.”

Villain’s 1986 release “Only Time Will Tell” has become to be one of the most sought after recordings of its genre at times fetching prices as high as $1500 Euros throughout Europe. This path ultimately led Tommy to Vicious Rumors in late 1993 by way of a phone call from the late, great vocalist Carl Albert. During his time with VR (1993-1999) he toured in over 21 countries and performed with artists such as:

Accept, Dio, Metal Church, Paul Di’Anno and Killers, Blind Guardian, Jon Oliva’s Pain, Twisted Sister, Riot, Rage, Saxon, Motorhead, Sebastian Bach, U.D.O., Doro and more.

Tommy’s association with Vicious Rumors brought about a friendship with guitarist Mark McGee who, in August of 2003 invited him to be a part of his new band LUVPLANET, a female fronted melodic rock band out of Northern California.

“In the 30 years of being a musician, being in LUVPLANET is by far the most musically and personally satisfying experience I’ve known.” With the release of 2005’s State of Mind, LUVPLANET’s second CD and Tommy’s first with the band, they have created a collection of music that sets a new standard in Melodic Rock Music and have shared stages with Boston, Y&T, George Lynch (Dokken), Pat Travers, The Tubes and Elvin Bishop. The band have songs ready and are set to release their third offering before the end of 2007 which has a working title of LUCKY ONE.
