grew up in Philadelphia, Pa., and started playing guitar
at age 16. It was the album Appetite for Destruction
that changed my life and sent me on my musical journey.
Until hearing and seeing the band Gun's N' Roses, I was
merely having fun playing the latest radio tunes.
After that, I knew what I wanted to play.
moved to L.A., and jumped knee deep into the Hollywood music
scene of the late 80's. After spending a lot of time
in the clubs, and playing with various acts, I made my way
back to Philly and forged forward. I hooked up with
legendary Punk Rock band Pure Hell, and used that experience
to keep moving forward.
In the late 90's I relocated to Atlanta, Ga., and
joined the band Buttonhok. Buttonhook released two
albums, the second on Roughstone records, and was produced
by an Idol of mine. Jimmi Bleacher, former lead singer
for 80's rock powerhouse, Salty Dog. That was an experience
that I will never forget, and I am very proud of what we
came away with. Unfortunately, the support was not
there for the subsequent tour, and things fell apart after
I am currently working on writing and performing with Smash
Machine, and making quite a few waves in a short amount
of time. We have shred the stage with many national
acts, and will be touring ourselves in the very near future.
I am so excited about the opportunities that are on the
horizon for Smash Machine, and I am elated to be a part
of the SFARZO family. The future is looking very bright,
and I look forward to bringing Smash Machine and SFARZO
strings to your town soon.
