Santa Rosa, California, March 16th 2007 - "Delaney
Guitars is now offering Sfarzo strings on all of our guitars"
says Mike Delaney of Delaney Guitars. "These strings
have a reputation for holding tone longer and not breaking under
the most extreme conditions. We've tried them out on our Abel Axes
and agree that the tone is outstanding and the durability is excellent
as well."
Re-introducing
the Abel Axe! The Abel Axe, popular with guitarists
in the mid to late nineties, is back with a vengeance. From shredders
to jazz masters, to fusion aficionados, to Vai and Satriani wannabes,
all loved the unique, powerful sustain and tone they got from their
Abel Axe. Now they are back. Jeff Abel has teamed up with Mike
Delaney of Delaney Guitars to custom build the Abel
Axe of your choice.
From
the T-6 Billet Aluminum bodies to the custom neck and electronics,
these guitars will be built to order in Jeff 's and Mike's shops
in the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. We string all Abel
Axes with Sfarzo strings. If you haven't tried them, it's time.

Delaney Guitars - At
Delaney Guitars, all of the instruments are made one at a time,
in a shop near Missoula, Montana. Each one is unique and tailored
to your specific style and needs. The only limitation is your imagination
to build you your dream guitar. Delaney Guitars was founded by Mike
Delaney, a guitarist who has played rock, blues, soul, r&b,
and funk for 40 plus years from Los Angeles to Atlanta and shared
the stage with many big names in the industry. Mike began experimenting
with the guitar building process out of frustration with inconsistencies
in workmanship and quality that he found in the mass produced guitars
available in stores. Using his woodworking background along with
his experience as a guitarist, Mike started building his own guitars.
