BAD INFLUENCE is an Original rock band, in the vein of Nickelback and Creed, but with catchy, upbeat hooks, and choruses that girls like to sing along to (think Green Day meets Nickelback).
BAD INFLUENCE was a pretty big deal around 2003-2005, winning the "Shot At Cabo Wabo" Nationwide contest, sponsored by Sammy Hagar and his Tequila for the state of California. We first won Sacramento, then California, and then out of 20 cities across the Nation, we came in 2nd place to the band from Atlanta.
The band got National Exposure, went to the NAMM show that year, was featured on CNTV - a TV channel out of Hayward, was mentioned on 98 Rock, and FM rock station out of Sacramento, and the Feature story in 110' Magazine, a very large circulation Contra Costa county Magazine.
The band kept it going for another 3 years, and then took some time off. With a new Lead Singer, Bad Influence got this rolling again, and is playing all over California.
Bad Influence recently played the Mutiny in Antioch, The Fat Cat in Modesto, the Time Out in Concord, Rooster's Roadhouse in Alameda, Toot's in Crockett, the Quarter Note in Sunnyvale, The Whiskey in Hollywood, and many, many more. They even did two shows in the SAME night at two different clubs in Reno.
